Pressure Activated Control Systems
CSI has developed yet another innovative product series for controlling liquid levels with its PAC™ controllers. These systems totally replace mercury and mechanical floats and their wires that twist, tangle and foul with floating debris. They also take the place of costly transducers, probes that corrode and other such devices. A huge innovation is that all settings and adjustments are made outside the confined space (basin) and there are absolutely no electrical PAC components in wet areas. And, PAC technology is priced about the same as standard float systems!

Here's How PAC™ Series Liquid Level Control Systems Work - These innovative systems from CSI are so simple and easy to use. The exclusive Pressure Bell is typically installed a few inches above the inlet of the pump in the confined space using the convenient mounting bracket. The PAC Controller is installed in the control panel. One end of a 1/4" O.D. poly tube is attached to the top of the Pressure Bell, the other end is attached to the PAC Controller. The weight of the liquid in the basin is sensed by the rolling diaphragm in the Pressure Bell and the varying pressure signal in the poly tube is sent to the pressure transducer in the Controller which starts and stops the pump, operates an alarm or other auxiliary device. You simply dial-in the desired pump start, pump stop and alarm level on the PAC Controller in the panel. You can easily change all settings at any time without entering or even opening the confined space. And, there are never any float cords to adjust, untangle or clean. Once you've tried PAC technology you'll never go back to antiquated liquid level systems.
